Happy Thursday!! How has your summer been going? For us, it’s all about survival from the sun. Seriously this summer has been hot for us. We have all our blinds closed and have been living in a dungeon atmosphere. It’s miserable. In other news… my daughter will be attending junior high this year… um hello.. this mama isn’t ready for that move yet. I am trying to stay strong for her so she doesn’t get nervous but with her starting in about 3 weeks, it’s getting harder. I am trying to keep my mind off that… it’s like kindergarten all over again. Sheesh…
Anyhoo… with keeping my mind off that, I have worked on a few projects. I found this adorable tray at Hobby Lobby and it was on sale for 50% off. I loved the chippy paint but thought the chalk paint on the bottom would be perfect.
Once the paint was dry I did my best at drawing. I draw stick figures, ya’ll. Seriously, however when looking at some tutorials for dandelions, I thought I could do that. I took it slow but it was really easy. The hardest part was the writing. The older I get, my handwriting is starting to stink. Seriously…the struggle is real! This part also I took my time with, and it’s not perfect but it will have to do. Does your handwriting change over the years or is it just me?
